Hi, I’m Sue! I live alone and have been renovating my dream home for the past few years. I love getting stuck into projects—yes, I use tradespeople when I need to, but I also enjoy doing a lot of the work myself. There’s something really satisfying about it (most of the time!).
Every week, I head to my local Men’s Shed on ladies’ day. It’s a great way to learn new skills, have a laugh, and connect with others who enjoy hands-on work as much as I do. But DIY isn’t always smooth sailing. About a year ago, I ended up in hospital after putting a drill chuck through my hand—oops! Today, I’m getting ready to break up some concrete with a jackhammer.
That’s why I can’t wait to have Solo Alert. Knowing that if something goes wrong, my safety circle will notice a missed check-in. That’s a game-changer. It means I can keep doing what I love without worrying about what might happen if I take a tumble or have another “oops” moment.
For anyone else who lives alone and likes to stay active, Solo Alert just makes sense. It’s like having a safety net—without losing your independence.
Now, wish me luck with this jackhammer!
