I live alone and recently had a scare — my dog snuck in front of me and I tripped down a couple of stairs. Only my pride was hurt, but it really made me think – what if I had been injured and couldn’t get up to call for help?
I realised in that moment how important Solo Alert really is. My niece talked me into getting the app and set it up for me, and I’m so glad she did. It’s so easy to use — I just tap on my phone when the app prompts me and let it know I’m okay.
After my heart surgery, my daughter worried every time I didn’t answer the phone straight away. Solo Alert changed that. I check in twice a day, and that’s it.
One morning I felt dizzy and couldn’t reach my phone. I missed my check-in. Solo Alert notified my daughter and she came over immediately to check on me.
I am very happy to be the winner. My daughter suggested I try Solo Alert because I often forget other devices. I like that it is simple and I don’t have to remember complicated steps.
It is good to know someone will notice if I am in trouble. I feel very lucky and grateful.
I have to say I’m feeling much more relaxed since starting with the Solo Alert app. I missed one ‘check in’ and my son texted me within minutes. Great idea!!!!
In our Indian family, it’s always been understood that children care for their parents as they get older. I’ve always felt that responsibility deeply — my father means the world to me. My mother is no more, and he insists on living alone in the family home.
He’s proud, independent, and doesn’t want anyone watching over him. Solo Alert has been the perfect balance — it lets him live life his way, while I still have peace of mind.
It’s such a relief knowing he still has his independence — and I’m still fulfilling my part in caring for him, just in a modern way.
I use a wheelchair and I live on my own and have done so for years. I like doing things my way without anyone hovering over me.
However, if something unexpected ever happened — a fall, a transfer that didn’t go quite right — I know someone I trust would be notified if I missed a check-in. Solo Alert means I can get on with my day and most importantly stay independent, without feeling like I’m being monitored.
So easy to set up – clean, intuitive and easy for me to read. Easy check-in process.
I’m so grateful for Solo Alert. One evening, I missed my check-in and didn’t hear any calls because my phone was on silent. Within minutes, my daughter was heading out the door to check on me.
Knowing that I’m never really alone gives both of us so much peace of mind. Solo Alert worked exactly the way it should — and that’s priceless.
I recently had knee replacement surgery and wanted to stay at home during my recovery instead of moving in with family.
Solo Alert gave everyone peace of mind. I checked in twice a day, and if I didn’t, my brother would be notified. A week or so into using it, I forgot one day and missed a check-in — my brother called within minutes!
Living on my own has always been something I enjoy, but there’s always a little worry in the back of my mind about what might happen if there was an accident. What if I had a fall when I’m on the stepladder reaching for something on top of a cupboard, or even touch a loose wire in my toaster?
Solo Alert lets me keep my independence while knowing that if something goes wrong, someone I trust will be alerted. It’s simple, discreet, and gives me peace of mind every single day.
My sister has MS and it can be unpredictable. Some days she’s completely fine, and other days she struggles with balance or fatigue. I used to worry constantly about her being alone, especially on the tougher days.
Solo Alert provides exactly the reassurance we need. I know she likes her independence, but now I can feel more relaxed – I know I’ll be notified if she does need help. It gives her the freedom to live her life day-to-day, and it gives me the confidence that help is just a notification away.
Solo Alert has been a real game-changer for me. Living alone, I often worry about what would happen if I needed help but couldn’t reach my phone. This app gives me peace of mind. Just a simple tap twice a day.
Knowing that my neighbour is only moments away and will be alerted if I don’t check in means I stay independent and connected at the same time. I’d recommend Solo Alert to anyone living alone who wants that extra layer of security and comfort.
Traveling alone used to feel risky, but Solo Alert keeps my friends and family in the loop no matter where I am.
It’s so reassuring for everyone.
